| The Schnauzer Standard |
The three varieties of Schnauzer have a single standard, and besides some exceptions,
including height and other minor related details (miniature dogs cannot be exact copies of giant dogs), structure, proportion and properties are identical.Naturally, perfection is hard to come by, therefore even properly constructed examples can have faults that may be considered when the dog is being judged in a show. However, dogs usually receive an evaluation of their overall type, not only their faults.
